Canada is one of only a handful of nations with a full range of aerospace design capabilities. Today, Canada's aerospace industry is the sixth largest in the world, and the fastest growing among leading aerospace nations. It provides customers with advanced aircraft, helicopters, avionics, electronics, training programs, repair and overhaul services, as well as space products and services.
The overall skill level of Canada's workforce ranks high among competing countries. According to the World Competitiveness Yearbook, Canada has the highest percentage of individuals achieving at least college or university education. Canada was followed by Japan, the U.S., France, Great Britain, Germany, and Italy.
