The vision of the Integrated Transport Initiative is to establish North Bay as a major, export-oriented, international transportation staging centre and subsequently as an export product processing centre. The development and integration of six key components will bring the vision to a reality.

The Integrated Transport Initiative consists of six key components.

• The CargoTerm area is for all freight aircraft.
• The InterMode is an off-airport location established to move container products through our extensive rail links.
• The existing AeroSpace centre will be expanded to service the CargoTerm freight aircraft.
• The TradeZone will house duty-free export operations.
• Canadore College's EduPark will serve the training needs of all of the ITI companies.
• The new PassTerm will handle all passenger traffic and house airport management operations.
