With Canadore College's expansion, enrolment is expected to jump 40 percent when 65 more seats are added, bringing the total enrolment to 240 students. That's great news for employers looking for graduates. In fact, in a recent Ontario survey, 100 percent of the employers of Aircraft Structural Repair, Aircraft Maintenance, and Avionics graduates were very satisfied with the skills of the graduates they hired.

While that's great news, Canadore won't stop there. They intend to make the College the most comprehensive academic aviation school in eastern Canada. Through partnerships with local, regional, and international organizations, that vision is on its way to becoming a reality. The economic impact of this initiative will be tremendous, locally and regionally. Providing an educated and motivated workforce will be the key to attracting additional aerospace investment to the area.
